Creating games can be one of the most challenging things that an editor could do, especially games related to sports that are difficult to sell.

Self-editing his own game is even more audacious and could be very disappointing (in the best case) or/and very costly (for the worst case).

However Igor didn’t turn his back on this risky adventure. A try for the victory! After 20 years being on a rugby field, I couldn’t not try this rugby game.
First of all, I was amazed by the editing quality of the one man’s produced game at least as good as any sports board games (e.g.‘street soccer’).
Secondly, the rules are really simple and easy to remember, and leaves us with a whole lot of tactical maneuvers to execute:
Managing the players’ movements and positions while taking into account characteristics of each player is the key leading to victory by scoring a try.

I have recalled several tactical movements close to what I experienced on the field.

Breakthroughs defense breaches, free kicks, interceptions, grouped offence penetrations…
I was certainly very amused by this game and would like to congratulate that courageous and successful initiative.

So why "only" 4/5 and not 5/5…
In my opinion the characteristics of each rugby player should have been wrote down directly on the game token instead of being on the board.
A tiny detail that shouldn’t keep you from buying Kahmate… this game is worth the try!!
